Christmas in Da Nang

This is a very late post, which will be followed shortly with an update from Laos.

We were graced with a visit by the Elojabimbong family for Christmas. We spent a few days in Da Nang, also visiting Hue and Hoi An, and then headed to Hanoi for a few more days. Everyone was merry as it was Christmas.

Lots of bananas in Da Nang

Lovely but windy beach at the Furama Resort.

Bridge built by the Japanese in Hoi An...

We visited the Perfume pagoda near Hue.

Spirits at the Khai Dinh royal tomb greeted us peacefully.

One of the stone mandarins was strangely similar to Roope.
He was clearly very smart and wealthy in his last life.
Let's hope for more of the same!
